Have fun figuring out exactly how much damage you just dealt to your opponent. Use the mana from Bear Umbra to squeeze in those last hundred points of damage. Put Bear Umbra on Kamahl to protect him and double your mana output further, create excessive amounts of mana with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, then figure out the ratio between your animating lands and using them for Kamahl's overrun ability to maximize damage output. Next turn, you should have enough mana and giant dudes to swing for lethal. Vorinclex doubles your mana output, which will be essential, at 27+ lands, the Avenger will create Plant tokens for days, and you'll have enough mana left over to ultimate the Spawnsire and pull all your massive Eldrazi from sideboard (as it stands, my sideboard isn't tournament legal because it has multiple copies of a few cards I'm working on it). Not including the commander, three creatures are essential to have in play the turn before the alpha strike: Avenger of Zendikar, Spawnsire of Ulamog, and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger. You will have at least twenty-seven lands in play. Hardcast the Realms to pull most of the basic lands from your library, then return it to your hand with one of the above cards to get the rest of them. In order for the overkill strategy to work, you will first need to draw into Boundless Realms, and then either Eternal Witness or Greenwarden of Murasa.

For the cards I've swapped out with, see below: Custom Choices This deck is a more budget-y version of this Kamahl EDH deck which I had previously found on another site (upvote it, it's really awesome!): Badass Foil Kamahl Fist of Krosa EDHĬurrently, my Survival of the Fittest and Gaea's Cradle are proxies.įor a more extensive explanation of card choices and how to play, see the link.
